Do I need a license to get started?
No license is required to attend the webinar or begin the process. We'll walk you through exactly how to obtain your Life & Health insurance license in Texas — most candidates complete the process in 2–4 weeks. We support you every step of the way.
Is this a full-time or part-time opportunity?
Both. Many agents start part-time while transitioning from another career and build up to full-time as their book of business grows. Others join full-time from day one. We work with your situation and help you build a plan that makes sense for your life.
Is this a captive or independent opportunity?
Rapha agents are independent agents. That means you're not locked into one carrier. We have established relationships with multiple top national and regional carriers — so you always have the best options for your clients, which makes it easier to close and retain business.
How does the lead system work?
We'll cover this in full detail on the webinar. The short version: Rapha has built a structured process to connect agents with qualified prospects so you're not cold-calling strangers. How long does it take to start earning?
Most licensed agents who complete our onboarding write their first policy within the first 2–3 weeks of being contracted. Unlicensed candidates typically begin earning within 4–6 weeks from start to first commission, depending on how quickly they complete licensing.
What does the training look like?
Training is structured and ongoing — not a one-day orientation. You'll receive product training, sales process coaching, carrier certification support, and access to leadership for guidance. We believe ongoing education is what separates average agents from top performers.
Can I work remotely?
Yes. Rapha agents work remotely using tools like Zoom for client consultations and team meetings. We are headquartered in Longview, Texas, but serve clients across Texas and our team is distributed. Remote work is fully supported and part of our culture.
